After last weeks rather more serious entry I thought I'd mention my love of check patterns and an example of what I mean is here.
A classic and well worth adding to your wardrobe, the check blouse works well where you want a casual but smart look matched with pants, tailored shorts or a skirt.
This example can be found the the petite range of cc.fashion.co.uk but no doubt there's others available at all manner of price points. I liked how the collar is cut adding a overtly feminine feel to it.
Shout out time:
First off Courtney's back as good as ever with her super TG caption blog having had to spend time looking for work.
Also Sissy Holly has resurrected her blog talking about her new relationship, being able to bring a bit f her sissy self in and regretting a purge. I'm sure she'd like you to read it.

Internet content controversy
The modern world is a very interesting place for sure, changing almost beyond that which many grew up with and nowhere is that more marked than looking at the impact of the Internet on our daily lives however this throws up new challenges.
One that is relevant for us is the ongoing debate about internet safety, childrens's welfare and how much personal responsibility you put on responsible people in their lives such as parents.
At the core of this debate is access to sexually explicit material; often images deemed 'pornographic' not just on computers but via tablets and smartphones via either mobile broadband or Wifi spots which are hard for parents to police as children just carry them around in the way many of carried our portable music players in own youth, connecting and using as they go along out of parents own eyes.
In the UK at the moment, most broadband connections are not content filtered, relying parents putting settings either on a common router or a particular machine to limit content and maybe curb chatroom use by say under 13's.
This doesn't work for tablets or smartphones unless you're a new subscriber to talk talk an ISP who give you a choice of different settings but the trouble is a setting ideal for your 8 year old may well stop a 14 year old resourcing some material for school such as material around sexual reproduction and if you have a University student home too well you'll soon hear groans.
My friend Jo, worked in child protection and is very concerned about the easy of getting highly inappropriate search results that a child could click on having stumbled at at times on images with sexual acts depicted.
Some types of sites have to their credit tried to put age restrictions on -Facebook is a good example - but then children and sadly adult s who should know better create acceptable ages and matching profiles.
So what's to be done to make the internet safer for children and at the same time allow adu;ts to indulge in material legally they are entitled to?
My own feelings run that sites offering or linking to sites that offer sexual services should have to use the .xxx form of address as it would be very easy to know what kind of site a link is pointing to and equally easy for a parent with software to block them. Jo feels that should be an 'opt in' as that is around the area where 'mature content' moves more toward overtly sexual text and graphic images.
What comes under Adult or Mature content is a bigger problem because there doesn't seem to be a universally accepted definition. For instance it is not unknown for sites dealing with transgender or so-called infantism issues to be put on a list even if they host no sexual content because someone somewhere said 'this is adult' while blogs that feature sexual content get by with a click thru content warning. Worse still the people who make these lists don't tell you you're on them and even decline to say if you are if you ask citing "Commercial confidentiality" or saying why you are listed.
To me it's inconsistent.
I'd soon have anything having the adult content warning applied by the site owner or blog host automatically added to a "Do you want to block the following " option and all else allowed subject to reports with the list provider informing you of the report and a right of appeal of they block you.

Making the best of things
Times were hard for Richard as he'd been made redundant for six months from Grimley's electrical engineers testing motor units out, getting nowhere with his job hunting on account of the economy.
A chance encounter at Sally's tv bar with several friends produced a new and most exciting lead as Crawley & Sons a solicitors specializing in Employment law required a new secretary and he'd had experience of running Grimleys flower club organizing trips, dealing with correspondence and all that. Heck he'd even gotten a RSA Intermediate wordprocessing qualification and cold do audio typing.
With his partners help, Richard became Rachel thanks to a makeover and against all odds with three othr strong candidates got the job of his dreams.
Interviewing her senior lawyer Mr Smith said "Your background is most unusual I have to say but it is most fitting given the area of Employment and Sex equality law we specialize in".
Rachel is now very happy and she's only too delighted to turn heads in her uniform.
Serious note: I hope all those in our community who are facing lack due to loss of work are able to find suitable alternatives soon.

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012
I like the understated pastel colours in this dress by Louis Vuitton but I don't think the bag really works with it. Too bold.

Easter bunny!
Well a few things crossed my mind this week for the entry but they're kind of running together here.
Firstly the notional of dressing your 'pet' seasonally so seeing that it's Easter then why not make them into a bunny with ears and a cute fluffy tail for this weekend (I'd love that having an objectification fetish!) plus you could tie this in with a egg hunt with a whicker basket to place all the eggs in.
Happy Easter peoples!

Maids to the rescue!
Whoo-woo I'd love to spend a day dressed up like this righting wrongs as drawn by Sylentsongs at DA being fairly modest which might help keeping my dignity flying around (or maybe not!).
With the recent warm weather you'd be in good company for sunbathing with just you bikini on.
The old Maids Petticoat Forum is officially no more sadly as some Polish hosting group seems to have gotten the domain and blocked the entries off so you can't see anything and hunting around and even translating suugests they aren't offering anything by way of repairing functionality and so on.
